At Gitschberg Jochtal the youngest learn to ski on gentle, sunny slopes in the heart of South Tyrol. Two certified children’s ski schools, a dedicated Kids Cross course and the Zwergele winter world with its magic carpet, slides and tyre run make for a gentle start. Across around 55 kilometres of pistes and 16 lifts between Meransen and Vals there is enough variety for the whole family, from the Gimmy Funride in Jochtal to the 6.75 kilometre Brimi winter toboggan run. A KIDS ON SKI course lasts 5 days. Here the child is taught how to move safely on a pair of skis. On special children’s slopes, experienced ski instructors look after the well-being of the little ones with a lot of patience and care. Safety always comes first.
