Obereggerhof: farm holidays with children in Vals
At 1,100 metres above sea level, the Obereggerhof lies in the middle of the Vals valley, nestled between alpine meadows, dark forests and the rugged Pfunderer mountains. Farm animals up close
In the stable right by the house the cows are waiting to be stroked, and the farm’s own ponies live in the enclosure next door. Your children may help with the feeding, balance along the barefoot path right beside the stable and meet the little farm cats for a cuddle. This direct contact with the animals turns the Obereggerhof into a farm experience that stays in your memory for a long time.

The four holiday apartments at the Obereggerhof are furnished in warm Swiss stone pine and offer you the perfect retreat after a day on the slopes. From the Obereggerhof you reach the slopes of the Gitschberg Jochtal family ski area in just a few minutes. Around 55 kilometres of slopes, gentle practice hills and child-friendly ski schools await little winter sports fans right on the doorstep. If you are looking for a break from the snow, the Vals valley offers extensive winter hiking trails and rustic huts for warming up.
