Hotel Pfeiferhof

At the Pfeiferhof children have their own playroom, affectionately called Kinder-Paradies, with building blocks, table football, darts and a games console for the slightly older ones. Outside there is also a playground right on the meadow in front of the house, ideal for a snowball fight or a breather between two days of skiing. That way the little ones always have something to discover, while their parents can take a calm breath.

The Gitschberg Jochtal ski area is one of the most family-friendly regions in South Tyrol, with three children’s parks of its own and highly trained ski instructors. The Pfeiferhof is only two minutes by car from the lifts, and there is a ski room with a heated boot dryer as well as a practical ski bus. To round off the day, two toboggan runs and a family-friendly natural toboggan run lead straight down to Meransen.

After an active day in the snow, the wellness area with panorama sauna, bio sauna and cosy relaxation rooms in Swiss pine wood provides pure relaxation. Families stay either in the spacious Schlern family room or in one of the bright comfort rooms with a balcony and a view of the Dolomites. In the evening, head chef Alexander spoils his guests with a 4-course menu, and in the morning a rich breakfast buffet ensures a strong start to the ski day.
