The Schnals Valley in South Tyrol: Get your adventure

The Schnals Valley in South Tyrol is a snow-sure glacier ski area. Ranging from 2,011 to 3,212 metres and with around 42 km of slopes, the Alpin Arena Schnals has one of the longest ski seasons in the Alps. Just under an hour from Merano, the region combines glacier panoramas, adventure and family-friendliness.

In its own Kids’ Land with a tipi tent, magic carpets and a ski carousel, the youngest skiers practise away from the main slopes. Ski schools offer courses for children and adults, and primary-school children ski for free.
