In the middle of Leukerbad, the four-star Therme 51° combines stylish comfort with its own thermal water. Sandra and Didier Grichting run the house personally. It lies quietly and centrally: the Torrentbahn up to the ski area is about 12-15 minutes on foot, and the ski school and ski rental are a few minutes away.

Plenty of space to feel good
The hotel consists of two buildings, just 80 metres apart. In the Gästehaus, families stay in family rooms with two bedrooms for up to 5 people. In the Badehaus, the Junior Suites offer a separate living area with a sofa bed – from most of them a lift takes you straight to the spa. Cots are available on request. Many guests walk the short way to the spa in a bathrobe, just as Leukerbad bathing culture has it.
An ideal location for winter adventures big and small
The Torrentbahn, the Gemmibahn for winter hiking and the Sportarena with its ice rink and indoor pool are all within walking distance. The Leukerbad Guest Card, included with the visitor’s tax, brings you numerous discounts. In the evening the Restaurant 51° awaits with its own children’s menu, and half board is available at children’s rates.
A thermal spa with family feel-good factor
At its heart is the hotel’s own spa fed by its own thermal water: four thermal pools from 36 to 44 °C, a cold pool and five saunas. The whole area is a textile zone, so families with children feel at ease. For hotel guests the spa is included, children too, with consideration for the quiet. The saunas are for ages 16 and over. Massages (also for children) and physiotherapy are available in-house.
