House Castor sits directly on the Riederalp ski slope, making it ideal for families who want the shortest possible distance between their apartment and the snow in winter. In just a few minutes you can walk to the feeder cable car and the ski school meeting point, so even the morning route to the children’s ski course stays relaxed. Since Riederalp is a car-free mountain village, children can move around freely and safely without parents having to watch for traffic.

The fully equipped kitchen and the cosy living area with a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows invite everyone to cook and relax together after a day on the slopes, while the view of the snow-capped four-thousanders of the Valais Alps sets the holiday mood. Several bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower offer plenty of room and comfort, so even larger families or several generations can holiday together. A high chair is available on request at House Castor, and thanks to the lift in the building, a stroller, travel cot or extra luggage can be carried comfortably up to the apartment. Shops such as the Coop supermarket and a bakery are also just a few minutes’ walk away, making catering and everyday life with children easy to organise.
